- Drive the launch and planning phase of an AIMS by applying PECB’s IMS2 Methodology alongside recognized best practices
- Assist organizations in the continuous operation, maintenance, and improvement of their ISO/IEC 42001-based AIMS
- Prepare organizations for successful third-party certification audits
Course Structure
Day 1: Overview of ISO/IEC 42001 and starting the AIMS implementation process
Day 2: Strategic planning for AIMS implementation
Day 3: Executing the AIMS implementation
Day 4: Monitoring, continuous improvement, and certification audit preparation
Day 5: Certification examination
Upon completing the course, you will be capable of:
- Explaining the core concepts and principles of an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001
- Interpreting ISO/IEC 42001 requirements for AIMS from the implementer's perspective
- Initiating and planning AIMS implementation using PECB’s IMS2 Methodology and best practices
- Supporting the operation, maintenance, and continual improvement of an ISO/IEC 42001 AIMS
- Preparing an organization for a third-party certification audit
Assessment
The “PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer” examination complies with all PECB Examination and Certification Program (ECP) standards. It assesses the following competency areas:
Domain 1: Core principles and concepts of an Artificial Intelligence Management System (AIMS)
Domain 2: Requirements for an Artificial Intelligence Management System
Domain 3: Planning AIMS implementation in accordance with ISO/IEC 42001
Domain 4: Implementing an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001
Domain 5: Monitoring and measuring an AIMS based on ISO/IEC 42001
Domain 6: Continual improvement and preparation for AIMS certification audits
Certification Tiers and Eligibility
Following the examination, you may apply for specific credentials based on your professional background and project history. Certification is granted upon meeting all criteria for the chosen tier, including adhering to the PECB Code of Ethics.
1. PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Provisional Implementer

AIMS Project Experience: Minimum of 200 hours of project-related activities

3. PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer

AIMS Project Experience: Minimum of 300 hours of project-related activities

4. PECB Certified ISO/IEC 42001 Senior Lead Implementer

Professional Experience: Ten years of total experience, with at least seven years in artificial intelligence

AIMS Project Experience: Minimum of 1,000 hours of project-related activities

General Information
- The course fee encompasses both certification and examination costs.
- Participants are provided with comprehensive training materials comprising over 400 pages, including practical case studies, exercises, and self-assessment quizzes.
- A certificate of completion, valued at 31 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) credits, is awarded to all participants who attend the course.
- Candidates who complete the training but do not pass the exam are entitled to one free retake within 12 months of the initial exam date.
